Mrs. Deese learned Spanish as a child in Cuba where her parents were missionaries.

Conversational Spanish is offered to our 7th and 8th grade students. The goal for this class is to familiarize the students with vocabulary so they will not feel overwhelmed upon entering the high school Spanish classes which require conjugation of verbs and understanding of sentence structure.

The Spanish I and II classes use the Bob Jones curriculum, supplemented with weekly oral presentations which give the students practice in speaking Spanish and the opportunity to build confidence in pronunciation skills.
