It has been a banner year for Westgate athletics so far. The Lady Eagles Volleyball, Basketball, and Cheer team all have claimed runner-up finishes in their respective state championship competitions. The Cheer team also won the Spirit Award as part of their tournament accomplishment.
The men's soccer team was runner-up in the state tournament. The men's basketball team won the conference and finished 4th in the state competition.
