Men's Soccer The men's soccer team opened the season by hosting a tournament at WCS. Hendersonville Christian defeated Oakbrook Prep in the finals to win the tournament. Anderson Christian defeated Westgate in the consolation game on Saturday for 3rd place. WCS won the sportsmanship trophy as voted on by the coaches. The WCS men have fared better in the regular season defeating Trinity (Rock Hill) 10-0 and Greenville Classical Academy 4-2. The Eagles lost a hard fought match with 2A Oakwood but rebounded to defeat conference foe Easley 8-1. Following the conference victory the men lost a 3-1 decision to a strong Greenville Home School side. After a week off the Eagles defeated Greenville Classical Academy 5-2 on the WCS pitch. The men sealed a 1st place seed in the state tournament with a 9-1 win over Easley and improved their overall record to 5-2 (2-0). The mens soccer team will play Victory Christian School in the semi-finals at Northside Christian School in N. Charleston, Friday October 26 at 12:30pm.

Lady Eagles Volleyball
The Lady Eagles started the year with an easy victory over conference foe Landmark. The girls triumphed over several area teams to win the Lighthouse Invitational tournament over the Labor Day weekend. They followed with a win in 3 games over conference opponent Easley. The lady Eagles remain undefeated after wins against Tabernacle, Landmark and Lighthouse. The Lady Eagles have not yet needed a 4th game to win and remain undefeated and impressive. The volleyball team will face two-time defending champion New Covenant in the semi-finals at Northside, Friday Oct 26 at 6pm.
