Journalism/Yearbook

Journalism class is a great opportunity for sophomores, juniors, and seniors to learn the importance of capturing all of the events that happen within the school year. Eight students are hand-picked by the yearbook adviser, and their participation largely depends on whether or not there are conflicts within their class schedules.

With the help of our yearbook company, Herff Jones, students will spend the majority of the year learning how to use the Pagemaker 7.0 computer program to create the yearbook. They will also learn picture-taking skills, how to properly interview/write for captions, and how to sell ads for financial support.
